The Rehearsal Room Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

* Do I have to be a professional actor to join?
Not at all. This community is for anyone serious about exploring the craft — whether you’re just starting, returning after time away, or already working. The training meets you where you are. Basic Membership is best for beginners and hobbyists. Professional Membership is best for those who are actors training and/or working professionally.

* How much time should I plan to commit?
Each live session is 30–60 minutes. You can attend as many as you like within your tier of membership.

* Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Memberships are billed monthly, and you can cancel anytime with no hidden fees.

* What if I feel shy about sharing work?
That’s completely okay. You’re never required to perform in front of others. Many actors simply attend, watch, and learn — and often feel ready to share when the time is right.

* Why pay for training when the industry isn’t hiring?
Because you’re still an actor. Bookings may be slow, but training is what keeps your artistry alive, your creativity sharp, and your sense of identity intact. This membership is an affordable way to keep growing, exploring, and creating — no matter what the industry is doing.

* What makes this membership different?
You’re not just getting a library of videos or generic tips — you’re getting live connection, real-time feedback, and a committed guide who is showing up with you. This is about staying in the work together.

* What is "The Hot Seat"?

“Hot Seat” sessions are a live space for exploration. A few members each week share a piece of work — a short scene, monologue, or exercise — and receive direct coaching in front of the group.

  • The actor in the “seat” benefits from tailored guidance and adjustments.

  • The group learns by observing the process, applying the lessons to their own craft.
